All wire jewelry is handmade with tarnish resistant lacquered gold or silver plated wire. This means that there is protective coating to prevent discoloration and tarnish from occuring.
That being said, please avoid contact with water + sweat. It's always a good idea to remove your jewelry before washing your hands, showering, swimming in pools or hot tubs, exercising, etc. If your jewelry comes in contact with water, be sure to pat until fully dry immediately afterwards. Do not submerge your jewelry in water for frequent or lengthy periods of time as exposure to water will cause that protective coating to break down over time.
